Well, mapping DNS is working now, so my web portal is up now. Nothing much there yet. Just a static page only. Going to develop some service soon... (Hopefully soon :P)

Yeah, Friday again...

As usual, on Friday, every team in my office need to deliver a demo to product owner (or other name is "client"). In the morning, usually we try to finish the some tasks left & prepare for demo. And the demo start in the afternoon @ 2pm (sometimes 3pm).

Well, this week, my team manage to finish most of tasks on Thursday, so today it's kinda relax. I have try to set up a website (use free hosting + free domain). Now it's still in progress since mapping DNS need a few days. Hopefully, i can get my site done by next week.

After trying to map my hosting with domain name, i also have a look at Joomla, a free open source Contain Management System. Frankly speaking, it can't be used by just clicking around. Maybe i'll need to read some books on that. Now still in decision if i should use Joomla to create portal, or i'm going to build portal by myself.

Well, last thing i have play around before this post is customize my Gmail theme. Let's have a look at it:

Group study in the office

As usual, in my office, we have taken 2 hours of work for group study/discussion. Usually it's on tuesday & thursday. But now we change to monday & wednesday.

Last week, we decided to pause the topic "Enterprise Pattern" and we change to "Ruby Programming Language". Also to keep the activities going smooth, we have enforced some rules. Here is the rule:

You know what happen, today, when the session start, 7 people (that's 70%) happened to come late. So all of them got fined :P.

The session goes smoothly. We decide to use the book "Beginning Ruby: From Novice to Professional" Copyright © 2007 by Peter Cooper (Apress). That's a good book. It covers from the basic level to the high level.

Play around with template

Feel so bored, not wanting to do anything. Just play around with blog template. Try a few but not look so nice... end up with this one.. a bit girlish >.<

Plan to keep this theme for a while. :D

Today, just try to edit image with Gimp. Gimp is a powerful graphic editor on Linux. Just spend a round 1 hour to play with it. here's the result (though it's not look so good :( )

JXII game client download

It's been a while since i've started playing JXII or in khmer "nisai sne dav tep". Overall it's a good game. On JX website, there's no link for downloading jx game client. Thus i just upload the client file, so people who doesn't have client can download the game from here. Below are the link:

Debit Card

Now, i'm in need to a debit card (either MasterCard or Visa). Just hit Google and i see a few results of bank which provide this type of service. However, i cannot find all the detail about the service fee from each banks yet.

Here is the list of bank i would consider:

• SBC
• ACLEDA
• Cambodian Public Bank (CAMPU)

Still not yet find which bank charges lowest service fee. I really appreciate if s.o can recommend me about this matter
