My google analytics record

Here's my google analytics record for this blog:

Unfortunately, I have changed my template without updating the tracking script, so i have lost the record for about 5 days.

From the record, seem that the most visitor i get per day in this month is 6 people :( Really bad. *sigh* I should update more interesting topic.

Google Adsense

Well, not much to change, just wanna know the process of google adsense, so i decide to add google addsence to my blog right panel.

I want to know how much does google adsense pay per visit & how much per click. Feel free to click if you'd like to help me to find out :)

Saturday again

Well, it's Saturday again... However, this saturday is not a boring Saturday as usual... seem today is a busy Saturday.

In the morning, I and my friends gather at Sovanna Shopping Center. We discuss about the trip to Kampong Som. After an hour of discussion, we decide to make it on 4th July. Hopefully, there will be many ppl join the trip.

In the afternoon, at 4:30pm, I'm planning to Barcamp Phnom Penh meeting which will be held at T&C. Hopefully, I can get some volunteer work to do ;)

Web portal header

Just manage to finish the first mock of my web portal header. Below is my portal header. Do comment if you have any ;-). All comments are welcome :D

Content of my web portal

Well, now trying to arrange the content of my web portal. The items i have decided to include in my web portal are:

- Activity: will be about my activities
- Entertainment: will post some nice khmer music. will try and see first if my bandwidth can support that.
- Download section: will list some useful software (OSS, Freeware & Trial)
- Photo Gallery: will put some photo (Any photo lol )
- Blog: will link to my personal blog. So far, I'm planning to use wordpress as my blog engine.
- Search: Going to use google search API. (Considering on Bing also).
- Forum: Of course, there's going to be one. I'm going to use SMF as my Forum engine. (well, got only 50MB of Free DB atm. trying to find a better free Database services)

Well, if anyone have any good idea, please reply here :). Also accepting for all comments about the content ;)

New Web Portal

Well, mapping DNS is working now, so my web portal is up now. Nothing much there yet. Just a static page only. Going to develop some service soon... (Hopefully soon :P)

Play around

Yeah, Friday again...

As usual, on Friday, every team in my office need to deliver a demo to product owner (or other name is "client"). In the morning, usually we try to finish the some tasks left & prepare for demo. And the demo start in the afternoon @ 2pm (sometimes 3pm).

Well, this week, my team manage to finish most of tasks on Thursday, so today it's kinda relax. I have try to set up a website (use free hosting + free domain). Now it's still in progress since mapping DNS need a few days. Hopefully, i can get my site done by next week.

After trying to map my hosting with domain name, i also have a look at Joomla, a free open source Contain Management System. Frankly speaking, it can't be used by just clicking around. Maybe i'll need to read some books on that. Now still in decision if i should use Joomla to create portal, or i'm going to build portal by myself.

Well, last thing i have play around before this post is customize my Gmail theme. Let's have a look at it:

Group study in the office

As usual, in my office, we have taken 2 hours of work for group study/discussion. Usually it's on tuesday & thursday. But now we change to monday & wednesday.

Last week, we decided to pause the topic "Enterprise Pattern" and we change to "Ruby Programming Language". Also to keep the activities going smooth, we have enforced some rules. Here is the rule:

You know what happen, today, when the session start, 7 people (that's 70%) happened to come late. So all of them got fined :P.

The session goes smoothly. We decide to use the book "Beginning Ruby: From Novice to Professional" Copyright © 2007 by Peter Cooper (Apress). That's a good book. It covers from the basic level to the high level.
